Dr. He Wen, Ph.D., NRSE
A safety scholar-practitioner whose work integrates AI safety, human–AI teaming, safety management, and risk analysis. Currently an Assistant Professor at Indiana State University, focused on the safe, trustworthy application of AI in complex work systems; previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta.
He brings an interdisciplinary background spanning engineering, management, and safety science, holding an MBA from Peking University, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Texas A&M University and Memorial University of Newfoundland), and advanced degrees in Safety Engineering.
With more than seven years of professional experience, his industry roles include Safety Engineer and Safety Manager at Lenovo Group and Branch Vice President at Inspur Group. A National Registered Safety Engineer in China, he has contributed as a registered expert to IEC Technical Committee 111 and ITU-T Study Group 5.
Dr. Wen has authored 44 peer-reviewed publications and completed more than 100 manuscript reviews for approximately 30 journals, including Reliability Engineering & System Safety and Computers & Chemical Engineering. Through Risk Analytics AI he contributes expertise in trustworthy AI, safety assurance, and human–AI interaction.
Naser Dehghan, Ph.D., CCPE
A Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist with multidisciplinary experience in human factors engineering, industrial and occupational ergonomics, aviation safety, healthcare systems, neuroergonomics, and human-centered technology design — ensuring emerging and AI-enabled technologies align with human capabilities and improve safety, usability, and system performance.
His expertise includes cognitive and physical ergonomics, ergonomic risk assessment, human-centered design, usability evaluation, mental-workload assessment, and human error and system safety analysis, applying methods such as task and workflow analysis, participatory design, usability testing, eye tracking, EEG, physiological monitoring, and biomechanical assessment.
He has worked across aviation and aerospace, healthcare, medical technology, manufacturing, petrochemical operations, and occupational health. His current aviation work examines pilot mental workload, situation awareness, fatigue, and pilot-system interaction using multimodal biometric data (EEG, EDA, HR/HRV, and eye tracking).
His record includes more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and 11 patents. At Risk Analytics AI, he contributes to AI-enabled ergonomic risk assessment, human-centered intervention design, and responsible human-AI teaming, guided by the principle that AI should enhance human performance without compromising worker safety, health, autonomy, or well-being.
